Finally, after seeing seemingly endless players walk out of the doors of the Gabba, the Lions have grabbed another wantaway in Charlie Cameron. And like the last one (Beams), it looks like they’ve found a good one. Cameron projects to be a very good player going forward – unlikely to be an All Australian, but not outside of the realms of possibilities.
Brisbane managed to get him for almost exactly what he is projected to be worth. It’s a very good deal for both sides – one which should help Adelaide restock their youth cohort (without killing them on field), and help Brisbane immediately.
