Will Hoskin-Elliott played in the very first GWS team, but now sees a future in black and white ahead of him. The former number 4 draft pick showed glimpses of future stardom, but often was let down by execution when push came to shove.
It’s unlikely that Hoskin-Elliott would have cracked into the Giants best 22 this season, but has a clear place at Collingwood. His best is very good – but his worst was sub-NEAFL level. This deal is all contingent on Hoskin-Elliott’s improvement. If it continues to stagnate, this is a really smart deal by GWS.
Verdict: A pretty fair deal right now.
